
Patsy Ketchum (Turner), another former classmate has passed away recently. Below is her obituary.
Patsy Marie Turner, age 77 of Lowell, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oren & Maragret Ketchum; siblings, Jack (Mona) Thompson, Donna (Chuck) Smith, Lynn (Jay) Londo, Betty (Don) Thompson, Carolyn Robrahn, William Ketchum; niece Terri Veenstra Weidenfeller. Patsy is survived by her husband, Jim Turner; daughters, Melissa (William) Tichelaar, Kerrie VerWys; grandchildren, Samantha Dilling (Chance Adams), James (Allana) Dilling, Colin VerWys, Brigitte Casalina, Angela Casalina, Jared Casalina, Austin (Tori) Casalina, Mary Tichelaar, Sherry Tichelaar; nine great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Anne Ketchum; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Patsy graduated class of '66 from Lee High School. She wore a few different hats during her working years, from waitressing at Keiser's, bartending and waitressing at Lowell Lanes to cleaning at Laurels of Kent. As a young girl, she enjoyed riding and caring for horses with her dad at the barn. Patsy was a crafter, over the years she spent her time knitting, crocheting, embroidering, painting, and trying her hand at ceramics. Family brought her the most joy. She cherished the time spent with her grandkids and great grandkids. Patsy will be sorely missed by all those who knew her.
Memorial services will be held at 10AM on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Holy Trinty Episcopal Church, 5333 Clyde Park SW, Wyoming, Michigan 49509, with visitation one hour prior. There will be a time of food and fellowship to follow held at Wyoming Moose Lodge, 2630 Burlingame SW, Wyoming, Michigan 49509.
